NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut Joins the Women’s March on Washington
January 21, 2017 – Hartford, CT – Members of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut will join hundreds of thousands of people across the nation and the world in marching and rallying today. Election brings mixed results for pro-choice politics
In Connecticut, we are also concerned about the election of seven state senators endorsed by anti-choice organizations (Kissel, Witkos, Suzio, Markley, McLachlan, Kane, and Linares). We are particularly worried by the strongly anti-women rhetoric of State Senator Len Suzio (R), and the danger he presents to Connecticut women in trying to remove their rights to abortion and birth control.
