The following is a list of Connecticut state officials that are pro-choice.
Executives
- Governor Dannel Malloy
- Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman
- Secretary of the State Denise Merrill
- State Treasurer Denise Nappier
- State Comptroller Kevin Lembo
- Attorney General George Jepsen
Legislature
- The Connecticut House
- The Connecticut Senate
Although Connecticut is currently a pro-choice state with a strong legislature for protecting choice issues, the anti-choice movement has been gaining more political power in recent years.
The 2017 legislative session saw four anti-choice bills filed. Although these bills did not move forward, the number shows that Connecticut is not immune to anti-choice threats and we must remain vigilant to make sure that the state not only holds firm on the rights we already have, but does not move backward in the coming year.
